Shahrukh Khan was born on November 2nd, 1965 to his parents from Pathan ethnicity. Though by religion he is Muslim but he was raised by the Hindus fro most of the time. His father Taj Mohammed Khan was the freedom activist and mother Lateef Fatima was the adopted daughter of Major General Shah Nawaz Khan

Shahrukh is the most beloved actor and producer of Indian film industry and also considered to be most dominant actor today. He began his career through television serials during 1980s and made film debut in 1992 by acting in ‘Deewana’.

He has bagged many commercial successes to his credit giving several prestigious awards. Some box office hits include: ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’, ‘Dil to Pagal Hai’, ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’, ‘Veer Zaara’ and ‘Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna’.

He has married to Gauri and is the father of a son Aryan and a daughter Suhana.
