King Khan did not attend the IIFA but his divine presence was felt all thanks to his two big blockbusters 'Chak De India' and 'Om Shanti Om'. 'Chak De India' stole the show as the movie won not three or four but nine Awards. SRK was awarded the Best Actor Award despite Abhishek being his strong contender for 'Guru' in the same category.

'Om Shanti Om' also shined at IIFA as the movie bagged five awards and the leading lady Deepika walked away with the best debutante of 2007 award. The big surprise of the evening was Vivek Oberoi winning the Best Actor in a negative role award for his outstanding performance in 'Shootout at Lokhandwala'. SRK’s movies in total bagged 14 awards at IIFA, now Shahrukh may not be in Bachchans friend list but he sure has proved that when it comes to bollywood and awards ‘I am the King’.
