Amitabh Bachan is suffering from bad health since the past few days. Currently the actor is busy shooting Soojit Sircar’s marital drama “Shoe Bite” in Shimla.

He was advised to take a three-day off from work, and take complete bed rest as he fell ill and was suffering from acute exhaustion.

The weather in shimla was giving him big time trouble. His political friend,Amar Singh-Samajwadi Party leader states that Amitabh developed a throat infection because of intense cold in Shimla.

The actor regained his health back, and went on a trip to Jaipur to celebrate Abhishek’s birthday on the 5th of February.

However, he did not have a very pleasant time there, as there were a group of people shouting out slogans against his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachan, for having acted the role of Jodha Bai in her latest movie Jodha Akbar.

Not only this reports also states that there have been miscreants hurling out empty bottles at his residence in Mumbai. This issue created a huge controversy in Mumbai.

Once all this drama was over Amitabh returned back to shooting in Shimla only to fall sick again.
The poor actor who usually is in very high spirits at his shooting locations, was very quiet and had to take rest after every shot, due to exhaustion.

The whole unit was worried about his health. The actor on the other hand contacted his family doctor and took the medicines that his doctor prescribed via phone.

His health worsened so much later on that he had no choice but to return back home. He returned back home via a chartered plane from Chandigarh.

Now, the actor is in Mumbai recuperating from his illness.
